Over all, I don’t think it’s a great idea to give children puppies or kittens for holiday gifts. Think how disturbing it would be for a baby animal to come into the chaos of a Christmas morning! Ferrets are really sleepy heads. Maybe it’s because they have so much energy and have to nap a lot, or perhaps they’re just naturally lazy. In fact, they sleep so heavily that it can take quite a bit of prodding and poking to get them to wake up.
