Have you noticed how people who love animals seem to hit it off immediately? It makes sense because someone who loves animals is already concerned with a being outside of him/herself. It’s not much of a stretch to realize that animal lovers are most likely outgoing and interested in humans in their vicinity as well.

Of course that’s not always the case. There’s the story of the neurotic “cat lady” who has 50 cats in her 1 bedroom house and never says a word to any of the neighbors. But she is an exception rather than a rule.

It’s especially great to meet someone interested in a pet that’s a little out of the ordinary, like a sugar glider or some type of reptile. After all, how many people with these unusual pets can there be?
